5 micro-trends that are about to conquer us!

BMost of my day involves browsing new arrivals on my favorite online stores to create the coolest new articles for our site. I can spot trends before they show up in street style and chart their path from micro to mainstream.

Pafter a few hours of online shopping, I highlighted 5 micro-trends presently. These wardrobe pieces have been spotted in the tapes of the most influential women and in many retail stores, which tells me that each of these micro-trends are on the verge of becoming epic!

FROM Considering that leather goods – especially outerwear – are on the verge of major changes this fall, but leather jackets are by far the micro trend I’m most excited about right now. Whether it’s classic black or a more unconventional color, they make me put my leather moto jacket aside for a while!

2. Dark blue denim

IN lately I’ve noticed dark denim among my favorite denim brands. This blue shade looks so sophisticated and refines even the most basic denim outfits.

3. Flannel shirts

PRemember that dull flannel shirt you wore in high school? Well let me introduce you to 2019 flannel! They are equally comfortable, but modern models are much more chic. We’ve seen a huge increase in the number of fashion girls who have incorporated plaid shirts and blazers into their fashion looks. And it tells me that this wardrobe item is back in fashion again.

4. Pleated midi skirts

FROM with the advent of “bourgeois” clothing, more and more classic models appear, and the latest of them includes pleated midi skirts. With accordion pleats in a neutral color palette and asymmetrical cut, these skirts are certainly trendy, but they also have a timeless quality.

Wear them under sleeveless dresses or tuck them into jeans – the possibilities are endless with this micro trend!
