1) Exfoliate gently
Dead cells and impurities in the skin act as a barrier: they prevent the skincare components from penetrating. This is why it is advisable to remove make-up morning and evening, and to carry out regular scrubs: once or twice a week, by gentle circular movements with the index fingers, using a grain product, a formula enzymatic or a homemade recipe (1 teaspoon of honey + 1 teaspoon of brown sugar).
2) Bring freshness
In Asia, women use a preparatory lotion. His role ? Moisten the skin with moisturizing ingredients (hyaluronic acid, glycerin). It is applied before the day cream, by tapping with your fingertips. There is a cheaper option: the water mist (thermal isotonic, floral or cellular), to vaporize then to make penetrate with the palms of the hands.
3) Apply a serum
This treatment is much more concentrated in active ingredients than a cream, but its texture cannot provide the skin with all the comfort required. Hence the interest of using it in duo with a cream. In order for them to work in synergy, the two must come from the same brand and if possible, from the same range. It is the guarantee of compatible textures and complementary assets.
4) Add oil
You can add essential oils to a day or night cream made from natural ingredients or better yet, organic. In the palm of your hand, mix one drop with your usual dose of treatment. For an anti-wrinkle action, use that of immortelle (helichrysum), which boosts the production of collagen. That of palmarosa has a firming effect and the essential oil of tea tree reduces blemishes. If you want to boost hydration, bet on geranium.
5) Massage with care
Self-massage, with a melting cream or an oil, promotes the penetration of the active ingredients of your cream. For a lifting effect, work with ascending smoothing. If you want to slim your oval, make small pinches on the lower face.
