A few hours after she said “yes” to Jack Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie donned a pale pink Zac Posen evening dress. A dress more suitable for the rest of the festivities.
As usual and just as Meghan Markle had done during her marriage to Prince Harry, Eugenie of York, just married to Jack Brooksbank, put on a second dress for the evening which was held at the Royal Lodge. So she took off her white wedding dress with a train and her famous V-neckline in the back, which proudly displayed the scars present since her spinal operation at the age of 12.

A gown, perfect for the ceremony, signed by British designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, inspired by previous royal wedding dresses, with corseted silhouette and pleated skirt. The outfit contains many symbols unique to the Princess and Jack Brooksbank. Either a thistle representing the couple’s penchant for Balmoral Castle, on the wild shores of Scotland, a clover evoking the roots of the bride, a rose for England and, finally, ivy representing the house of the bride and groom.

A tailor-made silk dress
After they left the ceremony in Aston Martin DB10, the newlyweds changed before the reception and dinner at the Royal Lodge. In Alex Bramall’s official photos provided by Kensington Palace, the groom wears a classically tailored suit while the princess is dressed in a cream and pale pink-hued dress designed by American designer Zac Posen. The evening dress specialist said he was inspired by the beauty of the colors of the countryside surrounding Windsor. The color of the bespoke silk dress with the ribbed plastron reflects the blush of English roses. The white York rose is subtly embroidered on both shoulders to hold the cape in place.
If this outfit created especially for the occasion will not be available for purchase, some dresses from the American designer are similar. However, it will cost you nearly 6,500 euros.
