Exclusive to MadameFigaro.fr – Immaculate dresses, lace, tulle … Anne de Lafforest’s 2019 collection takes Art Deco inspiration to seduce future brides of 2019.
If the label is called Anne de Lafforest, two women are behind this name: Anne the stylist and Blandine the model maker. Their specialty? The custom-made wedding dress. Blandine has always worked in this universe since the end of her studies, in New York then in Paris.
“For my part, after experiences in luxury ready-to-wear, a friend asked me to make her her dress. One thing while training another, a married friend then others, I said to myself that I had to get started. This is where I met Blandine and we created the company together in June 2015 ”, explains Anne.

As the wedding season is about to be in full swing, the label unveils its 2019 collection exclusively, under Art Deco influence: “Initially, it was the Samaritaine who was our inspiration. Then we turned to Decorative Arts in general, in architecture, design, etc. It is such a rich period. The purity of the lines perfectly matches the style of our brand. ”
The models that will dress the future brides of next year therefore combine lace and tulle in cuts with retro accents. A wrap-around shape rivals a plunging halterneck. Ruffles are delicately placed on the shoulders when a daring cut reveals the skin at the waist.
