Happy Birthday Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore is an American actress from the small town of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who received her first Oscar nomination for her role as prostitute Amber in Boogie Nights in 1997, starred in the cult Big Lebowski (Moore played daughter of the protagonist Maud – an artist and a feminist) and in “Hannibal” (her heroine is an FBI agent Clarice Starling, who went out with the devil in an intellectual duel). In other words, even at the dawn of her career 20 years ago, Julianne Moore did not choose the role of harmless cuties. Now on the account of today’s birthday girl – three Oscar nominations and one victory, she received the coveted statuette in 2015, when she played the best actress in the film “Still Alice”.

Moore became a big Hollywood star after 30. In the 1990s, for outings on her first carpets, she chose monochromatic and clear cut outfits – take a look at the gray suit in which the actress went to the premiere of “The Devil” in 1996, and the white dress Oscar ceremony in 1998. Later, Julianne Moore’s wardrobe began to gradually transform.

Recently, the actress prefers outfits of bolder colors and silhouettes, they are sewn to order in the fashion houses in which Moore is considered his friend and muse – Chanel, Givenchy, Valentino and Tom Ford. Julianne can choose a gold floor-length dress for a secular exit (remember the Met Gala 2019) or a little black, in which she appeared at the opening of the Chopard boutique in London. In honor of Moore’s 59th birthday, we are revisiting her brightest appearances in the past two decades.
