How to make homemade liqueur?

Pouring is an alcohol-containing drink obtained by blending the components without fermentation. Produce liqueur from fruit and berry raw materials. The drink contains 18-20% alcohol and at least 28% sugar. For homemade liqueurs, the content of alcohol is 18%. This is quite enough for the drink to be successfully stored for a year without losing its original organoleptic qualities.

The source of alcohol in the liqueur is vodka. An alcoholic drink is prepared at home from natural fruit and berry juice. Granulated sugar can also be seen in the list of main ingredients.

It is best to make homemade liqueurs in late summer and early autumn, when the harvest is at their summer cottage. However, you can prepare a drink in the cold season, using pasteurized clarified juice from berries and fruits as a raw material. The liqueur is prepared from the clarified juice faster and easier. The output will be a transparent drink, which is an indicator of the quality for liqueur.

If the gifts of the garden and vegetable garden are used to prepare the drink, and not the purchased juice, they must be of high quality:

  • fresh;
  • mature;
  • healthy;
  • with good taste and rich aroma.

Juice will need to be extracted from fresh fruits and berries. For this purpose, you can use an electric juicer or a manual screw press. You can also grind the fruits in puree using a blender and then squeeze the juice through a cheesecloth folded in several layers.

In order to get as much juice as possible from the gifts of the garden and vegetable garden, they are pre-frozen or heated. Fruit and berry raw materials cannot be fermented.

The resulting juice will need to be additionally filtered with a clean linen (flannel) bag. After that, sugar and vodka are added to the resulting liquid. An important condition is that vodka is poured into sweetened juice, and not vice versa.

To get 1 L cherry liqueur, take ingredients in such quantities:

  • cherry juice – 0.4 l;
  • granulated sugar – 250 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

For 1 L raspberry drink you need to stock up:

  • raspberry juice – 0.4 l;
  • sugar – 250 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

To prepare apple liqueur, take a set of products consisting of:

  • juice made from juicy and tasty apples – 0.45 l;
  • granulated sugar – 200 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

Grape liqueur prepared from the following ingredients:

  • pasteurized grape juice with a sugar content of 16% – 0.5 liters;
  • sugar – 150 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

For getting strawberry liqueur you need to stock up:

  • strawberry juice – 0.4 l;
  • sugar – 250 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

To prepare black currant drink, take the following ingredients:

  • freshly squeezed juice from berries – 0.35 l;
  • sugar – 320 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

You can prepare a liqueur from a mixture of fruit and berry juices. The taste of the drink will be richer and more interesting.

Your guests will surely be surprised by the served blueberry and blueberry liqueur… To prepare it, you will need to take a set of products consisting of:

  • blueberry juice – 0.2 l;
  • blueberry juice – 0.2 l;
  • sugar – 250 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

You can cook and rowan-apple liqueur from the following ingredients:

  • apple juice – 0.2 l;
  • rowan juice – 0.2 l;
  • sugar – 250 g;
  • vodka – 0.45 l.

The ingredients are combined with each other. The resulting mixture is poured into a bottle, covered with a lid. The vessel with the drink is left in a cool dark place for 1.5-2 months. It will take every few days to shake the contents of the container. After 2 months, the liqueur is filtered through several layers of gauze and poured into bottles. Then they can be transferred to the cellar or sent to the refrigerator.
