Miroslava Duma’s Pangaia brand, which produces very fashionable and eco-friendly home clothes, in March presented its own platform PangaiaChangemaker, which helps to make the world a better place, supported the fight against coronavirus, and now launched the Bee the Change initiative together with Milkywire to protect bees. The first project was the Pangaia x Takashi Murakami capsule collection, developed with Takashi Murakami for World Bee Day (May 20). The star of the international art scene and one of the most beloved artists in the fashion world has created a special print with flowers and bees in an instantly recognizable manner – it was applied to plain hoodies and t-shirts.

Together with Milkywire, the Pangaia brand will help protect and preserve the bee population. Like other pollinators, they are critical to a healthy ecosystem: they not only help crop production, but they also signal environmental problems. All Pangaia T-shirts are made from organic cotton, and the hoodies are made from a mixture of recycled cotton, with the latter being 45 percent. In addition to its eco-friendly composition and fashionable appearance, the collection with Murakami’s works is attractive both with an activist message and notes of artistic value.
