Portal created a collection of shoes with HSE students

Portal decided to celebrate the approaching summer season with a fresh collection of shoes. Moreover, they created it with promising designers and concurrently students of the HSE School of Design. Five winners were selected among all the participants in the sketch competition. It was with these girls – Anna Samsonova, Polina Pogonyalina, Katya Ezhukova, Liza Andritsova and Polina Kochieva – that Portal designed shoe models and created a full collection of fifteen pairs.

The girls drew inspiration from Soviet mosaics and urban aesthetics, Tim Burton’s creations and Studio 54 parties. Hence, 1970s-inspired suede wavy strap sandals, patent pointed shoes, flowered heeled sandals and many other expressive summer pieces. All new items can be found now on the Portal website.
