Quilted outerwear was popular in the 17th century, but it wasn’t until 1965 that quilted jackets were introduced to men’s everyday wardrobe, when Steve Gulyas founded the Husky hunting and fishing brand in Suffolk. Later, quilting was mastered by other clothing designers, and so these jackets first appeared everywhere in men’s wardrobes, and later women fell in love with the trend.
In the coming spring, the quilted coat will once again become the most coveted coat thanks to the efforts of Bottega Veneta, Rodebjer, Burberry and many other brands. Already, such coats and jackets made of leather and nylon can be seen on Pernil Teisbek, Lisa Aiken, Blanca Miro, Vera van Erp and many other fashionistas with armies of fans. We urge you not to delay and start looking closely at the trend.
