Spring-Summer 2021 Fashion: Main Trends

After the end of Fashion Weeks, it is traditionally time to take stock. So what will be fashionable in six months? What fashion trends will be in the top for spring-summer 2021?

Tulle and chiffon skirts and dresses are one of the most daring trends of the coming season. Designers Sportmax, Alberta Ferretti and Christian Dior suggest not being shy and showing those around you underwear. So there is a reason to purchase some amazingly beautiful sets by the spring.

Designers are still focused on the shoulders. Gigot’s puffy puffs and sleeves were shown in their collections by Zuhair Murad and Zimmermann, and Balmain was surprised by sharp shoulders a la pagoda.

In London and Paris, designers not only “lined” clothes with stripes, but also decorated them in bright colors. Among the adherents of this rainbow print were Versace, Adeam and Christian Dior.

The designers have solved the problem of vitamin D deficiency in their own way: in the spring-summer collections there is a huge number of tops-bras and microshorts, which, mixed with other things, have become full members of the fashionable wardrobe. Examples are Miu Miu, Chanel and Alberta Ferretti.

One of the most popular materials for the next season will be the net. The designers were inspired by both fishing tackle and sports themes. What came of this – we look at the collections of Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Acne Studios.

The color of orange and rust, sorbet and traffic cones – designers are actively offering an orange palette for the spring. Issey Miyake and Sportmax opted for orange shades for their dresses, while Versace and Jason Wu offered a bright total look.

Quarantine definitely had an impact on fashion: one of the most popular items that designers showed at Fashion Week was the home suit. Convenient and comfortable models were in the collections of Balenciaga, Thakoon and Tom Ford.

There are fashion trends that will never cease to be relevant. And white for summer is one of these “eternal” trends. Next year, be sure to get yourself a white cotton dress – judging by the latest shows by Nehera, Valentin Yudashkin and Alberta Ferretti, this is a must have for the summer wardrobe of 2021.

And again on the catwalk there is the dominance of frills, ruffles and flounces of all stripes and sizes! At Miu Miu, the entire front of the translucent blouse is decorated with ruffles, like waves, they run into each other in layered skirts at Christian Siriano and cross the luxurious evening top at Isabel Marant diagonally.

Fashion is a consequence of what is happening in the world, or a reaction to what is happening. So masks not only firmly entered our lives, but also became part of the wardrobe. And, as it turned out, they can be both fashionable and very original. Rick Owens, Alice + Olivia and Christian Siriano offer to make sure of this.

Long dress nowadays is not only the prerogative of evening fashion. Made from jersey, stretch cotton, cashmere, jersey and similar materials, they fit softly and gently around the body and ensure that you will be both cozy and comfortable. Examples include Michael Kors, David Koma and Khaite.

And of course, spring and summer are the time of flowering. Including – in a fashionable wardrobe. We collect bouquets in the collections of Marchesa, Giambattista Valli and Andrew Gn.
