Water with turmeric in the morning “on an empty stomach”: benefits and possible harm

Most people know and take warm water in the morning – it starts the digestive tract, flushes out toxins and activates the excretory system. Adding turmeric powder will increase the effect of the warm liquid at times. This is one of the healthiest morning drinks.


Initial doses of turmeric powder should be kept to a minimum, such as ¼ teaspoon. The amount of powder increases every day. The basic recipe is ½ teaspoon in 1 glass of warm water:

  • Boil 200 ml of filtered water;
  • cool boiling water to + 40 ° С, pour ½ teaspoon of powder into a glass and mix thoroughly;
