Wedding fashion trends 2020-2021

It is believed that wedding fashion is a very conservative lady. White color, floor-length, lush wedding dresses, Empire style or tight-fitting “mermaid” – this is perhaps all that designers offer brides from year to year. Undoubtedly, all this is fabulously beautiful, but – more or less – traditional. Wedding dresses of 2020 look completely different. What surprises await brides next spring?

There cannot be many flowers at a wedding celebration. So you can safely include in the list of dresses for trying on models completely covered with flowers – like Viktor & Rolf or Zuhair Murad. Or new wedding dresses from Vera Wong, who preferred a scattering of small flowers, several large flowers as an accent.

Trendy wedding dresses 2020 are echoes of royal weddings. So if you’ve always dreamed of walking down the aisle in the luxurious Ball Gown, your dream may well come true! Fluffy skirts of classic ball gowns look great in heavy satin and light tulle, and in laconic models without decor, and in stunning dresses with tiered skirts, ruffles, embroidery and voluminous decor. Examples are Suzanne Neville, Pronovias and Marchesa.

Who would have thought that the fashion for feathers will stay on the list of current trends in wedding dress for so long! But nonetheless. Wedding dresses of the bride, decorated with airy feathers, will be in fashion next winter, spring and summer. This has already been announced by Oscar de la Renta, Jenny Packham and Francesca Miranda.

A great and fashionable alternative to the traditional veil is a short cape or a long cape. At Zuhair Murad, a lace cape is the “twin” of a wedding dress, Mira Zwillinger covered the bride’s shoulders with weightless and almost invisible tulle, and in the Justin Alexander collection, a long fluttering cape paired the jumpsuit.
