  • a pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Peel the pumpkin thoroughly, cut it into small slices and cook until tender. Drain the water, but leave a little for one more cooking of the gnocchi. The finished pumpkin must be chopped: through a sieve or using a blender. Then add butter to it. You should get a mass that looks like mashed potatoes. Put the pumpkin puree on the stove and cook over low heat until firm.

  2. Add the egg yolk to the pumpkin and add the flour. You can use rice or wheat. Also add pepper and knead the dough thoroughly. Using a teaspoon, form gnocchi in the palm of your hand, and also slightly press the sides with a fork for waviness. Then we spread the dumplings on a floured surface.
